MURDER MYSTERY 2

Murder Mystery 2 (MM2) was inspired by the original game, Murder. Since its launch in 2019, MM2 has attracted around 40,000 to 70,000 players. A major boost came on October 26, 2020, with the Halloween update, which propelled the player count to 111,200. As of August 25, 2023, MM2 consistently enjoys over 150,000 concurrent players daily.

This round-based survival game features various maps and modes. Let’s explore what the different roles can do!

What Roles Can Do

Hero

The Hero role can only be obtained after the Sheriff dies. Pick up the gun and shoot the Murderer to win the game.

Innocent

As an Innocent player, your goal is to run and hide from the Murderer. If you see someone holding a knife, you must escape to avoid being killed.

Sheriff

The Sheriff is the only player who can stop the Murderer. If the Sheriff successfully shoots the Murderer, they win the round.

Murderer

The Murderer’s objective is to eliminate all players before the timer runs out while avoiding detection by the Sheriff. If the Sheriff shoots you, you lose.

Tips to Avoid Getting Killed by the Murderer

  • Stay Aware of Your Surroundings: The Murderer often targets crowded areas. Keep an eye on nearby players and avoid getting too close, even to friends.

  • Find a Hiding Spot: Once you've identified the Murderer, find a safe place to hide to increase your chances of survival.

  • If You Are the Sheriff: Don’t immediately draw your gun at the start of the round. Be sneaky and observe the players. If you spot the Murderer, remember their appearance and clothing, then either escape or position yourself to eliminate them without being caught.
