Hong Kong Young Writer's Awards Ceremony 24-25

Congratulations to Vincent Ku for being shortlisted for the Bauhinia Award for Fiction Group 2.

Following HKYWA’s theme of New Tales of China’s Dinosaurs”, Vincent Kok’s story “The Sinosauropterx Adventure”, features a boy who follows a time-travelling paleontologist back to the past and influencing the course of history to save the China Dragon Bird from extinction.

Kalie Fok, who was among the first students from Creative Writing to be shortlisted for the HKYWA last year, won the Bauhinia Club Award for Fiction Group 3 in the Middle School category.

Eric Liu Kai Yan from the Macau Pui Ching Middle School won the Bauhinia Club Award for Creative Non-fiction Group 3 for his non-fiction piece.

It was a big win for Pui Ching across board!
