Radio Drama 18-19

The Pui Ching students have been participating in the English Radio Drama Competition since its inception 11 years ago. This year, Theo Tam’s S.O.S tale of adventure and comedy won the collective vote. The story of how ants were reluctant to work together until disaster struck and ruined all their homes, trapped and without hope they venture through the darkness and meet a few friends along the way. It has a sweet moral lesson but packed with comedic moments, teamwork and the odd twist and turn.

Students Eudora Siu, Tiana Yung, Theo Tam, Johnathan Miu and Brian Yam took to the stage at the Chiang Chen Studio Theatre, The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and delivered a captivating performance which had the crowd laughing and their eyes glued to the stage. Our student’s teamwork, expressiveness and content hit all criteria and they took home the Gold Award. Whilst congratulating each other, the students were called up a second time for the Competitions Most Popular Performance Award, it was safe to say they were excited. Teachers were overjoyed with their student’s success and are looking forward to repeating the win for next year’s competition.
